Basic principle and composition of the brake motors, the DC brake disc is assembled on the non-drive end shaft of the motor,when provided with electrical power, the brake functions concurrently, the electromagnetic force attracts the armature and presses the spring ,thus the brake disc is released from armature and endshield,then the motor starts to operate: When the electrical power provide is cut off, electromagnetic froce dropped, the spring pushes the armature to the brake disc,the motor stops right away,a braking action concluded. The electricity of the brake is supplied by rectifier fastened in the terminal box, DC 99v for motors up to 3KW and DC 170V for motors 4KW and up.

Y2EJ series DC brake motors(DC brake assembled on Y2 collection motors) and YDEJ collection DC brake motors(DC brake assembled on YD collection multi-velocity motors) are also CZPT.
